The standard design uses four small blocks glued to the underside of the tabletop, creating a socket that drops over the assembled base.
ICB20100_1 (Slotted Sub-Top)
This variant uses a secondary sub-top that locks onto tabs on the legs. The main solid tabletop is then adhered over the sub-top to hide the joints.
