FAQ

Short answers to common questions about buying custom packaging from Hercule Industrial.

Quotes and minimums

What do you need for a quote?

Tell us the packaging problem, rough size, and approximate quantity. Photos of the current box and its problems are useful. Add product weight, a drawing, dieline, sample, artwork, old quote, or delivery ZIP code if you have them.

Do I need a finished dieline or specification?

No. We can begin with photos, rough dimensions, the product, or a description of what the package needs to do. We will identify the missing information and develop the package from there.

Can you reproduce or improve an existing box?

Yes. Send the box or clear photos, dimensions, packed weight, quantity, and the problem you want corrected. We can reproduce the existing box or design a revision.

What is the minimum order?

Minimums depend on the package. We handle prototypes, short runs, launch quantities, and smaller production orders as well as repeat and high-volume work. The quote states the minimum for the actual box, print, and finish.

Packaging and production

What packaging can you make?

Corrugated boxes, folding cartons, rigid boxes, displays, partitions, pads, inserts, foam, protective packaging, kits, and bespoke multi-part packaging. We also manufacture from approved customer or agency dielines.

Can you handle large or heavy-duty corrugated packaging?

Yes. Our network covers double-wall and triple-wall cases, stitched boxes, pallet boxes, large folders, and multi-piece containers. Corrugated blanks up to 102 inches wide by 440 inches long are available for oversized packaging.

What printing and finishing are available?

Direct flexographic and digital corrugated print, litho-laminated corrugated, digital and offset folding cartons, printed rigid-box wraps, coatings, lamination, foil, embossing, and windows.

Can you provide samples or testing?

Yes. We provide structural samples, printed comps, color or finish proofs, and production samples. Material checks, box-compression testing, transport testing, and finished-package inspection are available when specified.

Can one order include several packaging components?

Yes. A product kit can include the presentation box, fitted interior, printed pieces, corrugated shipping case, assembly, and delivery under one order. We keep the components and approvals together.

Production and delivery

How long does production take?

The date depends on the package, quantity, tooling, printing, samples or proofs, material, capacity, assembly, and freight. We confirm the expected production and delivery dates in the quote.

Can you hold inventory and release it on schedule?

Yes. Repeat packaging can be made and held under agreed terms, then released to one or several locations on a set schedule or against your release orders.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Yes. Our manufacturing and warehouse network covers 29 states, and we deliver throughout the United States. The quote states whether freight is included or shown separately.
