Parcel Shipping Without an Outer Carton
This box has no native friction lock or tuck tongue. If shipped through a courier network as-is, the lid can easily pop open. For direct-to-consumer parcel shipping, it needs a strong outer shipper or a very secure tamper-evident seal.
Heavy Industrial Components
While the double-wall sides provide good vertical strength, the diagonal collapsing creases can be potential buckling points under heavy, shifting loads. A standard crash-lock or glued tray may be better for heavy industrial parts.

Board Quality and Folding Endurance
The diagonal creases undergo a 180-degree fold during flat shipping and return to a 90-degree angle when assembled. The board must have excellent folding endurance to survive this stress without cracking. High-quality folding boxboard (FBB or SBS) is usually necessary.
