The interlocking leaves are designed to hold themselves closed without tape. However, if you need tamper evidence or extra security for slightly heavier items, a clear wafer seal can be applied over the seam.
Can this carton be printed?
Yes. While often left clear to showcase the product, the plastic can accept foil stamping, silk screening, or specialized UV printing for branding and text.
Can I get a short-run digital sample?
Yes, but be aware that digital CAD tables use cold creasing, which often causes more crease whitening than final production tooling. A digital sample is great for checking size and closure fit, but may not perfectly represent the final optical clarity of the folds.
How is the side seam glued?
It uses a plastic-specific adhesive, usually PUR or UV, which remains clear and resists yellowing. Because the carton is transparent, this glued seam will be visible on one edge.
Does the plastic attract dust on the retail shelf?
