This specific template is suited for thick, rigid boards (like 16mm ICB or honeycomb) that can be V-cut. Standard corrugated board typically crushes rather than folding cleanly at 90 degrees when V-cut, making it less suitable for this exact template.
How much weight can the column support?
The vertical walls of 16mm rigid board provide substantial compression strength, which can support heavy display items. However, exact load ratings depend on the specific material grade and should be validated with a physical prototype.
Are there visible seams on the outside of the column?
The front and side faces are completely continuous due to the V-cut folds. There is a single vertical seam running down the center of the back wall where the wrap locks together.
Can we change the height of the column?
The overall dimensions can be adjusted. The CAD template will automatically resize the internal horizontal supports to ensure they still fit inside the new footprint.
How is this delivered to stores?
It ships knocked-down (KD) as a flat kit containing the main wrap and the three loose support pieces, minimizing shipping volume.
How should artwork be set up for the continuous corners?
Because the V-cuts allow the board to fold without breaking the outer liner, artwork can be designed to wrap continuously across the front and side panels. Registration marks should align with the V-cut centers.
