Packaging built to perform. Testing can be arranged through a qualified production plant or outside laboratory using the methods and equipment specified for the package.
Packaging Built to Perform
We can arrange material checks, structural samples, print approvals, finished-package inspection, compression testing, and distribution testing through a qualified production plant or outside laboratory when the order requires it.
Pre-Shipment Package Testing
When an ISTA procedure is required, we arrange the test through a qualified partner plant or outside laboratory. Simulated shipping conditions help confirm whether the package is prepared for its intended distribution environment.
Climate Conditioning
Packages can be tested at specified humidity, temperature and altitude conditions when the order requires it.
Backed by Design
Test results can be reviewed against the approved design before the package is released for production.
Quality checks and testing for packaging orders
Checks are selected for the package and the way it will be used. Testing can be run by a qualified production plant or an outside laboratory when the order requires it.
Set the approved referencesCurrent drawing, dieline, material, artwork, color reference, finish sample, physical sample, test method, and acceptance criteria.
Run the required testCompression, stacking, drop, vibration, shock, puncture, atmospheric conditioning, or another stated method selected for the actual risk.
Keep the repeat recordApproved files, samples, lot information, inspection results, reports, photos, and dispositions when the order calls for documented checks.
Checks by package type
Palletized shipping cases
Board construction, box dimensions, compression, pallet pattern, overhang, stacking height, closure, and warehouse conditions are reviewed together.
Fragile parcel packs
Product movement, insert fit, corners, surfaces, closure, drop orientation, vibration, and the actual packed weight guide the test plan.
Cold-storage produce
Board, adhesive, vents, drains, lid fit, stacking, moisture exposure, and spot-color approval on the intended substrate can be confirmed before the run.
Decorated cartons and rigid boxes
Artwork, panel orientation, color, coating, foil, embossing, wrap, windows, glue, opening, closure, and finished presentation are compared with the approved proof or sample.
How production problems are handled
If delivered packaging differs from the approved drawing, material, print reference, sample, or acceptance criteria, the affected quantity is identified and compared with the production records. The response may include sorting, replacement, rework, credit, or a documented corrective action before the next production run.
