Do I need to glue this file holder myself?

No. The side seam is glued by the manufacturer, and the file holder is delivered flat. You simply square the tube and fold the bottom flaps to lock the base. We recommend having the manufacturer glue the top rim flaps as well for a permanent, clean edge.

Can this be made from heavy-duty corrugated board?

Heavy flutes are not recommended. The top edges fold 180 degrees inward to create the reinforced rim. Thicker boards like B-flute or C-flute will likely crack or create too much tension on these folds. E-flute or F-flute is often chosen for this design.

Can I use this to mail catalogs to customers?

Not on its own. The open top and angled sides provide no protection for parcel transit. If you are mailing items, this holder should be packed inside a separate corrugated mailer or shipping box.

Can the angle of the side walls be changed?

Yes. The slope from the tall back wall to the short front wall can be adjusted to suit the height of the items you are storing or displaying.

How long does it take to assemble the base?
