The internal locking slots and gussets are parametrically tied to 16mm board. While thinner materials like 10mm board can reduce weight, they greatly weaken the cantilever joint and must be physically validated before production.

To fold 16mm rigid board cleanly at 90 degrees, a CNC router must cut a V-shaped groove into the material. Standard die-cutting cannot process board this thick.
What material is required for this archway?
The parametric slots and locking hardware are designed specifically for 16mm Inverted Corrugated Board (ICB) or equivalent heavy-duty honeycomb. Thinner boards will compromise the joint strength.
Can the horizontal beam support overhead weight?
The cantilever beam is designed primarily for its own weight and visual impact. Any additional overhead load, such as lighting or heavy signage, must be physically tested to ensure the corner gusset does not tear out.
