When to Consider a Different Folder or Box
Automated Packing Lines
This wrap is assembled by hand. If your packing process relies on automated erecting and loading, a standard glued carton or crash-lock base is usually a better fit.
Standalone Parcel Shipping
The tuck tongues may catch and open during transit. If the package must ship through courier networks without an outer mailer, consider a roll-end tuck-front (RETF) mailer with dust flaps and a secure front lock.
Heavy or Bulky Items
The friction-fit tongues and wrap-around sides are designed for lightweight, flat goods. Heavy items may cause the wrap to bow or the locks to tear, pointing toward a corrugated mailer instead.

The template uses double creases to form the depth of the package. The exact board thickness must be specified early so the distance between these creases, and the width of the receiving slits, can be toleranced correctly to prevent cracking or loose locks.

Decide how this wrap will reach the end user. If it is an inner presentation layer for e-commerce, you will need to pair it with an appropriately sized poly mailer, padded envelope, or master shipping box.
