Can this wrap be shipped individually in the mail?
The tuck tongue closure is not secure enough for rough parcel networks on its own. It should be placed inside a protective outer mailer or secured with heavy-duty wafer seals if shipped individually.
How is the product loaded into the carton?
The carton is delivered as a flat blank. The operator places the product on the base panel, folds the side tabs up, and wraps the front and back panels over the product to secure the tongue in the center slit.
Can this be made from corrugated board?
Generally, no. The front panel requires a very sharp fold to create the tapered roof. Corrugated flutes are usually too thick for this angle and will crack or crush, making paperboard the practical choice.
Can these cartons be stacked on a retail shelf?
They cannot be stacked directly on top of each other due to the angled roof. They are designed to sit side-by-side or be placed in custom retail display trays.
Does this carton require gluing?
No. The entire carton is formed by folding the blank and locking the tongue into the slit. It is a completely unglued design.
