About this product

A simple, efficient fold-over card designed to seal flexible bags and provide a standardized hanging point for retail pegboards. Often called a header card or bag topper, it straddles the top opening of a pouch and fastens shut, trapping the bag inside while presenting a clean, branded face to the consumer.

The template features a central crease and symmetrical die-cut hanger holes. When folded 180 degrees, the two halves meet and the holes align perfectly, creating a double-thick, reinforced aperture that supports the weight of the suspended product.

The weight of your product dictates the required board thickness. A heavier bag requires a thicker, more tear-resistant board to prevent the hanger hole from failing while on the pegboard.

Grain Direction and Fold Quality

To prevent the board from cracking along the top fold, especially with thick materials or heavy ink coverage, the paperboard grain must run parallel to the central crease.

Print Surface and Coating

The drop length of the front and back panels can be extended to provide more branding space or shortened to reveal more of the bag, provided there is enough surface area left to securely grip the pouch.

Can I print on the inside of the card?

Printing on the inside is possible, but because the inside of the fold is the back side of the flat sheet, it requires two-sided printing. This can affect material choice and production routing.

They can be applied manually (often with a stapler or pre-applied peel-and-seal tape) or fed into automated bag-topping equipment. If using machinery, ensure the factory fully strips the hanger hole waste to prevent feeding jams.
