Clear plastic boxes are prone to scratching and scuffing during transit. When shipping directly to consumers, an outer corrugated shipper is necessary to maintain the presentation.
Material, Fit, and Packing Decisions
Plastic Thickness and Grade
The standard 0.5mm plastic provides good rigidity for hanging and locking. Thinner plastics may bow or fail to hold the Greenleaf lock securely, while thicker plastics require careful scoring to prevent cracking.
