Does the locking tab require tape or glue?

The top closure relies entirely on the friction fit between the paperboard tongue and the die-cut slit. However, if the carton is used for parcel shipping, the top may need security tape or the carton should be placed inside an outer shipper.

Is this carton tamper-evident?

The tongue-and-slit lock can be opened and closed multiple times without leaving visible damage. If tamper evidence is required, a clear wafer seal or perforated label must be applied over the closure.

Can this carton hold heavy items?

The vertical walls provide good stacking strength, but the top closure is not designed to bear heavy internal loads if the carton is inverted. The overall weight capacity depends more on the chosen bottom closure and the board thickness.
