FEFCO 0319 combines two separate half-slotted corrugated containers. Each piece has a four-flap closure at one end and an open end; the open ends telescope together to form the two-piece box.

Packing requires erecting and closing both half-slotted containers, loading one piece, and fitting the other over its open end. There are no extended side flaps that fold down around the other container.

Can this box ship through parcel networks?

Not without secondary sealing. The friction-fit lid and enveloping flaps will catch and tear on sorting belts or separate during tumbling unless they are heavily strapped or taped shut.

It takes much longer. Your team must erect and seal the base tube, erect and seal the lid tube, load the product, slide the lid over the base, fold down the enveloping flaps, and apply external strapping.
