When to Consider Shelved or Counter Displays

This module is a hollow pillar designed for visual impact and space division. If the display must hold heavy retail products, a structural shelving unit with dedicated load-bearing cross-bracing should be evaluated.
Small footprint requirements
The default 2.4-meter height requires a deep base and wide stance to prevent tipping. For tight retail aisles, a narrower floor stand or counter display is a safer choice.
Board Thickness, Print Area, and Base Stability
Rigid board selection and V-cut tooling
This design strictly requires thick rigid materials, such as 16mm honeycomb or inverted corrugated board, that can be V-cut on a CNC flatbed. Standard corrugated board will crush under this folding logic and cannot be used.
Pallet and freight planning
Even when shipped flat, the uncreased main panels are very large, often over 2.7 meters long. Freight must be planned around oversized pallets or dedicated transport.
Anti-tip and floor stability
While the deep side returns provide a stable footprint, high-traffic environments may require additional base weights or floor brackets to prevent the tall wall from tipping if bumped.
Edge finishing and exposed cores

How do the two halves stay together without tape or glue?
The side returns of the two wall halves meet face-to-face, creating aligned notches. Separate U-shaped clips slide into these notches, clamping the halves together through friction.
Can the wall support heavy top loads or mounted monitors?
By default, this is a hollow visual display. While the vertical side returns offer high compression strength, mounting heavy monitors or bearing structural top loads requires internal cross-bracing or a different engineered frame.
How is this display shipped?
The components are delivered completely flat. However, because the main panels do not fold in half horizontally, they require oversized pallets for transport.
What happens if we change the board thickness?
Changing the material thickness requires a complete recalculation of the template. The V-cut depth and the width of the gusset slots must perfectly match the board caliper, or the wall will not lock together.
Is it easy to assemble on-site?
The locking mechanism is simple and tool-less, but the physical size of the panels means you will need ample clear floor space and at least two people to align and mate the halves safely.
Can we print different graphics on the front and back?
Yes. Because the wall is built from two separate main panels, each face can be printed with entirely different artwork before assembly.
