Will reinforcing tape increase the stacking strength of the box?

No. The tape runs horizontally, providing tensile strength against outward bulging. It does not add vertical compression strength for stacking pallets. If you need better stacking strength, you should evaluate board thickness or switch to corrugated.

Print and Finish

Does the tape affect the outside printing?

The tape is applied to the inside of the carton, leaving the outside graphic panels uninterrupted. However, if used as a tear strip, the associated perforations will be visible on the printed surface.
