FEFCO 0100 Series
FEFCO 0100 corrugated sheets, pads, and board pieces
0100 covers flat corrugated material: rolls, sheets, scored boards, pads, rails, channels, and wrap pieces. These products often work inside another package or around the edge of whatever is being packaged.
Use a product from this series when the need is support, separation, blocking, bracing, or board protection within a package.
0100 products
Sheets, pads, rails, and board pieces
Grouped by the role the board plays: flat sheet, edge guard, channel, wrap, or scored support.
Sheets, pads, and layer boards
Flat corrugated board for pads, separators, pallet layers, and protective sheets.
Rails, channels, and edge support
Folded board pieces that brace edges, corners, long sides, or narrow product faces.
Wraps and scored board pieces
Scored blanks and wrap pieces for products that need simple board coverage without a full carton.
Series details
Common 0100 details
The useful practical details to keep in mind are about board grade, fold lines, edge contact, and the outer package they work with.
Board and flute direction
A pad, rail, or wrap can protect very differently depending on board grade and flute direction.
Scores and folds
Simple-looking board pieces may need scored bends so they sit tightly on corners, edges, or faces.
Contact points
The design should touch the product where protection is useful and avoid pressure where the product can mark, bend, or crush.
Outer packaging
0100 parts are often used with a shipper, tray, mailer, display, or reusable handling setup.
Questions
Common 0100 questions
Is 0100 only for flat sheets?
No. It includes sheets and pads, but also scored boards, rails, channels, edge pieces, and simple wraps made from corrugated board.
When does a flat pad or rail make more sense than a full insert?
Use 0100 when the need is simple face protection, edge bracing, pallet layering, or spacing. Use 0900 when the part needs cells, formed supports, or a more shaped fit.
Can these pieces be cut or scored to match my product?
Yes. Size, board grade, flute direction, score placement, and cutouts can be adjusted. A sample, photo, or rough dimensions are enough to start.
Do 0100 pieces usually ship by themselves?
Usually no. They are often used inside a carton, mailer, tray, pallet pack, or reusable handling setup, though some wrap pieces can cover the product directly.
What details matter most for a board pad or edge piece?
The product weight, contact points, board grade, flute direction, and the outer package all matter. If some details are unknown, we can begin from the product size and use case.
Can corrugated pads replace foam or plastic spacers?
Sometimes. Corrugated can work well for separation and blocking, but fragile surfaces, drop risk, and compression need to be checked before replacing another material.
Need these commercial rolls and sheets?
Send us the project details and the quantity. A photo, drawing, sample, or old part number helps if you have one. We take it from there.
